PRESENTATION
Serge Lafrance is Director of Executive Education (ED) and Adjunct Professor at HEC Montreal. He is also member of the institution's Executive Committee since May 2024.
ED provides executive
education to over 9,000 professionals, managers, executives, and entrepreneurs
annually.
Its offerings consist
of over 100 short-term courses in all areas of management, customized training
for businesses, and two world-class programs in Artificial Intelligence, the
Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), and Next AI.
Additionally, it includes the First
Nations Executive Education (FNEE), an innovative project co-constructed and
propelled by ED in the context of reconciliation with stakeholders of the First
Nations.
The programs of ED rank
1st in Quebec and 29th in the world according to the
prestigious annual Financial Times ranking (2024).
Serge Lafrance was also a Board member of UNICON (Consortium for University-based Executive Education) from 2022 to 2024. He is currently Prime Representative of HEC Montreal to the network.
In addition to his
role as a board member, he chaired the Benchmarking Committee and the Continuity
Committee of the network.
